Hello! My name is LaCresha Griffin and I teach Pre-K. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University where I received my Bachelor's in Elementary/ Early Childhood Education. I am currently attending JSU again online to gain my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up and attended school here in Alex City. I am so grateful to be able to teach in the same halls that I grew up in and alongside some of the wonderful teachers from my childhood. This will be my second year teaching. Pre-K is so very important to me. In my classroom we focus on helping students fall in love with learning through play - based learning experiences. After all, according to Montessori, "Play is the work of the child."
