Hello! I am the STEM teacher for PreK through 2nd Grade at Jim Pearson Elementary. I began my career at Jim Pearson in 2006 after earning my Bachelors in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Auburn University at Montgomery. Later I completed my Masters degree in Library Media and Technology from the University of West Alabama. I have taught both 1st and 2nd grade for the past 14 years and this will be my first year as the STEM teacher. We learn about science as well as the engineering design process. STEM is all about hands on learning and having fun!!
