Important Info

Before School: School starts at 7:30

1. Drop off begins at 7:00 and ends at 7:30. 
2. If a student is a car rider, he or she should be unbuckled, with a backpack in lap, ready to exit the car once in the parking lot. Staff members will open car doors and assist students with getting out of their cars.
3. Follow the directions of staff members in the parking lot. They will direct you to the appropriate lane to line up in. You will pull all the way up to the next available staff member before allowing your child to get out of the car. Staff members will direct you where to stop.
4. Students are to be dropped off in the morning through the car rider line; no student should be walked in from the parking lot or dropped off at any other location before 7:30.
5. Send a snack with your child each day.
6. Put your child’s name on or inside his/her backpack & lunchbox.

During the School Day

1. Breakfast & Lunch will be served in the cafeteria. Students arriving after 7:30 will be able to get a grab-and-go breakfast from the main office. There is no charge for meals this year.
2. Sign up for Class Dojo through your child’s teacher to stay connected with your child’s teacher and receive school information.  Also, join the school’s Facebook page and visit the school’s website for more information.
3. We will have PE and Activity each day.
4. Technology will be integrated into lessons regularly.

End of the School Day: Dismissal will be at 2:35

Adults picking up students in the car rider line MUST have the school-issued car rider hanger visible or will be asked to park, go inside and show ID.  When showing ID that person must be listed in PowerSchool as a contact for the student.

Reminders

1. Checkouts are not allowed after 2:00 pm.
2. Keep your information in PowerSchool up to date.  Come to the office if you have any changes that need to be made. 
3. Sign up for Class Dojo through your child’s teacher to stay connected with your child’s teacher and receive school information.  Also join the school’s Facebook page and visit the school’s website for information.
4. All Transportation changes must be made in person with the front office. We will not take transportation changes via a parent note or phone call.
5. If your child is a bus rider, they are only allowed one bus change for the year

1. Send an email or Dojo message to your child's teacher.
2. Within the email/message, include your child's name, the names of faculty members who are requested for the meeting, and details for requesting the conference.

1. Contact the teacher directly by email or Dojo message to request a face-to-face conference or a phone conference.
2. If the issue is not resolved after direct contact with the teacher, contact the school principal or assistant principal by email or calling the office at (256)234-8625.
